It is early so I think we are all trying to take it all in. But I would like to hear what everyone else likes and doesn't like. Lots of changes so far.
Likes-
Gameplay, so far this has been smooth and in my limited playing so far no weird fielding glitches.Program XP path combined, I like this I think this will allow for a scaling up in the rewards as the season goes on. No more getting live series diamonds two months after you have grinded for every live series diamond.
Legends- Lots of legends that are in the game early on.
Dislikes-
New menus, I find it hard to find what you are looking for and not very intuitive. I am still open minded on this one.Collections no XP and few stubs, confused why this happened, always been a good source of early XP and stubs. Not much incentive to do any early collection if you don't have the whole set.
Topps now- not sure why they went pack to selling the packs, here is hoping they don't go back to the old way on the Monthly awards program. Last years Monthly awards programs (especially the last two) were awesome.
Theshow site, how do you not have this ready for the early access? Biggest let down for me is I can't starting flipping or collecting from work in my downtime.

They probably know servers will be fidgety on consoles this week so they’ll probably try to get that under control first before adding the site to it too

You like the no XP path?? In the beginning of the game the xp path had very useful cards. That MA Sanchez was my catcher until I got Posey

The UI is awful this year. Too many button presses to get to what you want and a complete waste of unused real estate. There’s nothing extra on the screen requiring such a small font.
Why does a Hr moment feel like a struggle bus? I used Tatis in showdown and I was hitting bombs, then go to his moment and he has warning track power. It’s not like your facing a stud pitcher that forces your ball to die at the wall.
Otherwise the gameplay feels fine, but the program path is going to take some getting used to.

The game plays so good.
One thing I don't completely understand yet is the outfield fielding assist image on flyballs. It's a thick line and not a circle to where the ball is going to land. Any insight here will be appreciated

I could hardly play last night, I kept getting network errors that was annoying. I was not able to play in RS last night could not get a match. I went to do conquest and right after I finished one of the games I got more network issues and was not able to get back into the game at all. I hope that is fixed by the time I get home tonight. I was really disappointed when I got to work and I have no access to the market to start flipping cards. Day one on early release is a rating of 1 out of 100. I agree the menus this year is the worst since I started playing DD in 17. This was a huge step backwards. Combining the XP and inning programs is ok with me. I rather have it separate like 20. I like the uniforms that is W. Prospect packs in CQ is a W I hope it is repeatable. The game play felt really smooth last night but I was only able to play offline due to network errors.

I am normally sleeping at last nights launch but I did stay up to fire up the game but did not play anything just looked around the menus.
Truthfully I got frustrated and shut it off. It could be I was tired but these menus are terrible. Opening packs took a huge step back as well as the Diamond card graphics. Opening animations feel like a PS3 animation. The menus are clicky as I felt I was doing twice as much to get what I needed.
I hope the gameplay (until the first patch that wrecks it) outweighs the presentation as what I experienced was a D- grade, also being on a PS5 the graphics are much to be desired.

I loved that Sanchez card too, but that pack was worthless when you got it in the diamond level XP rewards. The Kluber card pack was great for the first two picks but after that none of those would start on your team when you got to those levels. So my hope is that these rewards will scale up as we go.

You can make it the floating ball In settings if you want that back.

I think the feedback is still janky. Other than that game plays pretty solid

You’ll get used to it. Some reason and I’m speaking from experience launch day with all the options even the menu seem overwhelming...I know I felt like that too

The UI is not my favorite but I'll figure it out
TA really like the new set up alot!!! Going to be fun plus getting to combine the 5 teams for innings is so key.
I love not have the XP Path I think it will be much better in the long run give it time

We all will get use to it. Going from 20 to 21 menus is night and day.. 17, 18, 19, and 20 were pretty easy to navigate. 21 is the worst. I rate the Menus on a negative scale compared to years past.
