Server, app service and database work is insanely complex and have thousands of intricate tie in with one another. I've worked in the industry for years and this type of work is never easy. The moving parts that need to coordinate perfectly with one another to provide you a seemless experience is simply overwhelming at times.
I understand people's frustration. You purchased a product and you expect it to just work. The hype and anticipation to play only to be let down. I get it.
That said, it's so upsetting to watch a community insult and disparage a studio who consistently puts out one of the best sports games on the market. They are trying to fix a day 0 bug. Relax. Go play offline for a bit.
Give them time and credit for the work they do. It could be a whole lot worse with other studios who truly don't give a care about you or the game.

This is my first MLBTS since like 10 and I loved the first few hours.
I’ve been a hardcore fifa player for the last decade and this year is my last. EA makes it so tough to be able to afford the good players you want in game. The pack weight is terrible too. I’ve never pulled one of the top tier players (Ronaldo, Messi, etc) or an icon (legend in MLB).
My first pack opening (10 packs from preorder) I got multiple golds and 1 diamond - Tatis! This would never happen in an EA game. The amount of rewards in MLB TS is insane compared to FUT as well. It does suck I lost (only) 15k from canceling an order. But I’ll be patient for SDS to make it right since this “ultimate team” is so much better than the BS EA puts out

@Skipple_MLBTS I agree with most of what you said, but comparing this to other companies such as EA is probably not the best approach. It’s like saying their product is at least better than a steaming pile of horse...
