So in the video they used the live series Bryce Harper that was an 87 overall at stage 2....So if you use him & rack up a bunch of the required stats - Does his overall keep going up & eventually at level 5 would he be a 98 or 99? Am I understanding this correctly?

The Bryce Harper example is the new Community Parallels progression, replacing the old prestige program. There is actually something else called player evolution which is a series of moments to earn better cards for the same player (different cards) where the Bryce Harper example is improving one card.

That’s the way I interpreted it. At +2 each level you could conceivably add 8 to any card you grinder enough. Or maybe it goes up more than 2 at the higher levels

His official OVR stays the same. His "playable" OVR increases as it would with an Inside Edge boost.
(Presumably, if you Player Evolved a Live Series card such as Bryce, he could get both IE AND Evolution bumps)

Will like for example Piazza is a 91, his playable value becomes 99 and can it happen offline?

I doubt you can get it to 99, I'd imagine you get only get +1 per evolution. We'll see what the exact #s are in 4 hours.

And yes, it can happen offline. We're not there yet, but I'll try to post the mission rundown when I get there.

I actually like that the old prestige program now parallel program allows you to upgrade offline even at 1x compared to 1.5x offline.

Inside edge changes daily, it's based on whoever the teams play against. So somedays Harper will be +6 on inside edge if the Phillies are facing like the 4th starter on whoever they play.. but could be -2 if they play the Mets and DeGrom is pitching..

The Stat upgrades are permanent based on how well you play with him..

And if Harper Balls out during the Season in Real Life, he'll eventually get Live Roster Upgrades which could potentially make him a 99..

Best chance Harper is a 99 is if his MVP Card is available and you get his upgrades.

    Im assuming.

It works like this parrell I is +1 while parallel 5 is +5 so basically it makes every single card in the game prestigeable but with a +5 instead of a +3 so say like last year i really liked using 99 babe ruth and he didnt have a prestige this year i can get him to +5 all stats by using him regardless if he has a prestige or not so players like 99 pearson have attribute boosts for using them over time say a guy has 89 fielding he will get diamond fielding at Para 1 cause his fielding will hit 90 so it means you can get fielders with 85 fielding stat to diamond at para 5 , or someone with 88 power can hit the power soft cap at 90 at para 2 it makes some cards better by using them 🙂

Also means we don’t have 2 versions of the same cards. It was annoying to accrue a ton of stats with the base version only to eventually prestige and start back at 0 stats for the card. W.

Had that happen to 95 Trout and 99 Trout.
