Soft throwing lefties

You know what would be awesome is if non-102 mph throwers could be competitive this year.
In real life, guys like Marco Gonzales and Hyun Jin Ryu can really get guys out. Gonzales walked 7 guys all year last year (yeah I know only 60 games but still, only the second time in history a guy had the same amount of walks as wins).
Ryu has a career ERA of 2.95.
In the show, both of these guys had gold LS cards and finest diamonds by year end, but neither were meta.
Here’s hoping they can get people out in 21.

Pinpoint might help with this?

Yeah I agree, it's hard to translate that soft throwing / pitch to contact pitching style in this game. Dallas Keuchel is another one of those guys.

With how big PCIs are on HOF down. Guys without velo will never be as good because the reaction time for hitters is longer and unless you can switch from that 102 to 80 or whatever, you’ll get hit constantly. You’ll get hit with anybody but better players especially

I thought ryus cutter was decent.

Work the corners with their sinkers and cutters

Have you not used John Franco in RS? Or even Al Leiter? They're devastating imo.

Leiter has been way better than I expected.
