It's all mental, but sometimes it feels like players go through a streak of awful luck. Everything they hit hard seems to find a glove or just miss. It probably doesn't even happen any more frequently to one card over another, but when you are thinking about it it seems like it happens more often. Kind of like buying a new car. Once you buy it you start to see it everywhere, even though you think you rarely saw one before.

Anyways..... for me it's gotta be Xander. It seems like every time I square up a ball with that guy it goes right into the shift, or outfielders make a dead run catch.

I think Xander is the worst finest card by a long shot personally, so it might just not be bad luck

I was hitting under .200 with 1 HR in about 70 at-bats with 99 Tatis Jr. I'm not the best hitter, but I'm not that bad so I wrote him off for a while and was using Mondesi and Story at short a lot. For some reason I just couldn't get going with Tatis. I decided to give him another shot in the event the other day and he hit 7 home runs over about 10 games and he is now hitting .250. Hopefully his luck has changed.

Willie Mays for me, it's either a combination of getting dotted to hell and taking swings on tough strikes or lineouts left and right. His swing speed is also suspect. I don't hate him I still start him some times. Just bad luck and people try really hard not to make mistake pitches over the middle with him.

I have more perfect perfect out with honus Wagner then any other player. He comes off the bench to run now and can fill a position.

But his hitting in this game is terrible. I never used him before the beta and I was hitting 600 with him in the beta. I am hitting .063 with him in 20 with a lot of perfect outs

I feel like some of the slap hitters with no power are kind of useless in this game. Another good thing about 21 — I think there isn’t a type of player that’s useless.

Everyone cause I'm not a great hitter lol, but either way, Prestige trout for me right now just hits long fly outs or rocket line outs, lots of good contact but not perfect.

Yea oddly I couldn’t miss with 99 Soto. Everything was a hit. With his prestige card I just line out hard to the defense.
