Can we please get injuries in Ranked seasons? It would make it more fun and people would use different cards then setting the same line up each time and using the same 5 pitchers over and over

Imagine it from the other side. I can already hear people foaming at the mouth.

"I GRINDED FOR 8 GAZILLION HOURS TO EARN THIS CARD AND NOW YOU'RE TELLING ME I CAN'T USE HIM FOR THE NEXT 15 GAMES?!?!?!?!?"

    or...

"I ONLY NEED 5 POINTS TO MAKE WORLD SERIES AND MIKE TROUT PULLS A HAMMY AND I CAN'T USE HIM?!?!?!"

In game injuries were in 17, at least on a game to game basis. Players would also be fine in the next game no matter what injury they had. That was removed, and personally I'm glad. I wasn't a huge fan of it.

I had proposed some type of stamina system similar to what we now have for pitchers which would require you to cycle in some of your bench guys. Probably not a popular idea, but it would accomplish the same goal of giving you a reason to use your other cards. I would envision guys losing a bit of pop and speed, maybe making more errors when tired but they would still be playable if you were in a must win situation. You could make it so they don't need rest very often (once every 10-20 games maybe depending on durability or something).

    I actually like this idea.

I’m not completely sold on your idea but I have to admit it’s an interesting idea. The durability rating would actually mean something in DD.
