@SDS, can we please get offline dd modes? The only offline mode so far is still Conquest! Showdown is great but it's not MY DD team. Moments are fun as well but again, not my DD team. What are the incentives for offline players to get good cards if the only thing we can do with them is keep playing conquest over and over again?

An offline events would be great! Or a March to October type mode with our DD team playing 3 inning games against the CPU. The you can have rewards for difficulty, standings, and stats.

This just reminded me of something from last year. I was kind of surprised that SDS didn't allow you to play the signature team versions of teams in vs. CPU or conquest after they were released late in the year.

It could have been an option which would have been more appealing than beating up on bronze, silver, and gold teams with 99's at every position. I'm primarily an online player, but I thought that would have been a no brainer to help out the people that don't play online much.

Yes I am very disappointed with the fact that Conquest is still the only mode I can play with my DD team. Probably will not be getting the Digital Deluxe Edition with all the extras next year, if I can't use them for anything.

I 100% agree with this thread with the slight adjustment. I would rather see some type of mode or program where there is an incentive to play full 9 inning games to mimic the strategy of actual baseball.

I think there are enough 3 inning modes and I miss bunting, hit and runs, and using middle relievers that 3 innings make less relevant. I would also like to see them add the fatigue factor into offline modes, like conquest, also. I think roster management is a cool feature for this mode and forces me to use more strategy. Sorry for the long post.

I agree with every post here so far. Once again SDS puts offline mode players in the back seat. They want us to collect cards and then have nothing to do with them. Fine, I just wont buy packs any more if I cannot play with them.

Instead we get more moments to do with Showdown. Very disappointed.

    Dear SDS,

Build on what you started with Custom Leagues. Let us play a single-player Custom League without having to exploit a loophole and have it count as DD for the purpose of missions.

Alternatively, let us play a proper 162-game season with our DD team replacing the MLB team of our choice, and based on how much success we have, award team affinity for the team we replaced. Increase rewards for keeping our team within roster restrictions BR-style as an optional salary cap mode.

I agree. If memory serves me right, the last time we had something like this was in the Show 17. When team affinity was tied to playing full 9 inning games against the CPU on increasing difficulty levels (Rook, Vet, then All Star). That allowed you to play up to 90 full 9 inning games vs the CPU (assuming you did all 30 teams).

I get it, online play is king, but there must be a happy medium.

OMG - THANK YOU FOR REMEMBERING THIS! I brought this up so many times about this in 17 but most players don't remember. That was the funnest I've had w/ DD offline ever.
