2020 HR frequency - way up so far
-
I'm at the All-Star break in my AA season. I have 20 HR's already. I've never reached double-digits before the All-Star break. Anyone else hitting a ton of HR's?

Havent played this year but last year and in 17 I have had 30+ dingers before the all star break. I remember in 17. I was basically Adam Dunn, with either a HR, walk or a single. Think I ended the season with like 80 or 90

I remember that - in 17, I was also hitting 550+ foot HR's until a patch toned it down.

Happens to me every year. I always mash in AA, start to slow down a bit in AAA and then level off in MLB. I think its so we dont spend a full season or two toiling in AA just to move up and repeat the process. If it were more realistic, we could spend 2-3 seasons in each league before being called up.
I personally wouldnt mind a touch of realism and spending a full season in both minor leagues before getting called up though.

Me too. In 19 and now 20, I get called up around the All-Star break in AA. I'd like more time in the minors.

Adjust your sliders .... you can make it as easy or more realistic as you want. I typically spend at least a year and half in the minors, I’ve even got the September call up and still started the next season in the minors, after also getting the spring training invite. Just my .02

It seems like input matters much more this year. So, if you're getting a decent amount of perfect/perfect's, you'll likely be getting a decent amount of homers. In years past that same input didn't matter too much.

Don’t know about homers but I started an RTTS with a starting pitcher and in my first game I hit 3-3 with a double, second game 1-2 with a BB. I haven’t done RTTS as a pitcher since probably The Show 15 but I never had a start like that, not even as a position player!
