Who thinks AS pitch speeds are too slow?

i Like pitching on HOF but I struggle hitting on HOF. For Prestige hitters I rather hit on AS for Pitching HOF. My hitting issues swinging at bad pitches.
The one thing I would like to see change, once you start a game you can not change your hitting options or pitching options.

Honestly, pitch speeds vary depending on whether or not it's an event, RS matchup, or BR matchup. All Star is not the same across all three; that is for sure! While some will beg to differ, others will not. I can see pitches better in BR and Events, but in RS I can't read a pitch out the pitchers hand until it's too late on Allstar! I hate to see what HOF and Legend speeds are. But at the end of the day, it depends on internet speeds, ping, and blah blah. No one is going to pinpoint a specific issue. It's flat out the built in RNG in any given scenario. I've griped and have seen gripes abroad in this forum. Some will make WS in RS, some will go 12-0 in BR. I can't even begin to fathom what goes on behind the scenes which is what is supposed to happen. It's a video game at the end of the day. Yeah I've ranted to the extremes on here, but no one is going to find an answer on here to online play. Yes you can destroy the CPU on it's hardest setting, but just can't seem to adjust to the difference in on-line play. It varies way too much. Just play, be patient, and "git good" and try your best. If you've done that already? Wait for 2021 to come out and carry on then. It's too late in the game now to seek resolution.

But they won't improve. The algorithm never changes year to year...only the players and attributes.

Watching a team of low level diamonds destroy my high level diamond and prestige players is beyond a joke. It's RNG all day or someone is cheating and taking advantage of every single glitch and malfunction in the game somehow.

I have been playing online all year. Why are you so negative, dude? Like if you don’t like the thread, you don’t have to read or comment.
Maybe you could use a break from the game.
I happen to be posting a lot lately because I just had surgery and am recovering at home with not much else to do.

I mean I can't comment on whatever game you played, but in general, I don't think that is a bad thing. Sounds like you thought you should win because of the cards you have, not your skill.

I started playing DD in 18. Every year it seems that the game play is getting worse not better. Content was fantastic this year. Gameplay was and is lacking. Next year will be more of the same and the year after. Input seems to be less and less important and is more about dice rolls. If you can accept it you buy the game and move forward.

I started before 16 when the cards were temporary and you had to name them and pretty much your whole team were caps.
I agree with your comments on the gameplay but I’d like to think it is not just a question of accepting more dice rolls and inconsistencies.

While I dont disagree and hope that you are right. the way the gameplay has been trending it would suggest the opposite. PCi ratings of 14s are line outs. Perfect Perfect with 110 power are flyouts to the track but early swings with PCI ratings of 11 leave the yard. I mean you can hear when its a [censored] swing. Perfect release balls miss their spot by a wide margin not inches. its still 26000000% better than RBI baseball so I guess there is that.

Yeah, it sounds like we are all in agreement on those points.
I don’t mind when my opponent hits a good pitch nearly as much as when the ball gets sucked to the middle of the plate.
There should be some feeling of being in control for the user.

Bro, not trying to be negative and I apologize for the harsh comment. Perhaps I do need a break from the game. I too have had too much time on my hands to play this game because of this stupid pandemic. This is my first year playin DD and I probably do play too much (about 700 RS games), which is why the inconsistency in this game gets to me. I do hope you have speedy recovery.

I do well on HOF in Conquest and in Events. I'm ok with making RS pitch speeds on HOF but they need to open the timing window back up that was closed at the beginning of the 20 release. Like it or hate it, that's my opinion.
