Meta cards vs. Sleeper cards

Any of you notice you hit better with non-meta cards?
At this time of year there are a lot of good cards but I am starting to think I get better pitches to hit with non-meta ones.

Aldaberto Mondesi and Jackie Robinson are two that come to mind. I don't see them often in RS.

Ellsbury always performs well, sandoval as well. Jackie card was glitchy, them guys with the wholly swings play above their power attribute. Jackie, Enos Slaughter also comes to mind

Ellsbury def a good one, batting .418 for me in 141 at-bats, mostly all in events.
96 Cargo is another guy I love using whenever I can in events, 1.798 OPS, probably has one of the best swings in the game.

CarGo is so good. His breakout card was my leadoff hitter for some 200 online games this year.
