So, is it purely about the stats?

I admit I’m pretty choked to work a pitcher, load the bases, hit a grand slam with Trout, and the box score reads 1-1 in the 6th.

I always thought it was just a rage quit, but then I’m reminded that if I click on the ok to go back to the lobby, I might take the L.

Is this the main tactic behind players who dashboard mid-game?

I think most of time is a rage quit, mainly due to the frustration from very early/late hits, perfect pitches floating to the middle, good pci placement and swing timing producing poor exit velos and so on.
