Poor EA...Should have been a little nicer to your players like SDS

As a former frustrated consumer of Ea products....wowlink text

EA is the North Korea of the gaming industry.

No surprise. Hopefully something gets done with these [censored] game companies. Bunch of crooks

Forgive me for not knowing all the ins and outs, but aren’t any packs/loot boxes considered a type of gamble? All companies do that, SDS included. Now, I understand what I’m getting into if I decide to buy packs. So it doesn’t bother me. I don’t buy packs, but totally can see how others, maybe kids too, get sucked into buying. That’s not good.
Also, do we know for sure if The Show has DDA of some type or not?
I agree with the video that the whole system is a bad look (and I don’t play EA much anymore), but doesn’t SDS do it too, at least a little bit?
Just trying to understand.
Disclaimer: this year, I did play Madden for the first time in several years and hated their setup. SDS is awfully generous with the giveaways for just playing, especially this year, and you didn’t need to buy packs if you didn’t want to. And I appreciate the heck out of them for that.

Poor and EA don't go well together. Literally and figuratively. They deserve every bit of misfortune coming their way and I hope they'll be sued out of existence.
-
I would say maybe Sds does it too...but we have yet to have cold hard facts with pages and pages of details talking about their US patent and how this will drive up game sales like EA.
I think that's the only difference. You make good points tho. I'm just guessing (hope strategy) that they arent. Lol

Thanks for the link - watched it. Glad people are putting more exposure on this.

There’s a fine line I believe with the “pay to win” type of system. I’m guilty of buying stubs like most of you guys but what irks me more than the loot boxes, is when let’s say for an example, people collectively keep information to themselves or a small group of players in order control and/or to drive the price up for an item or card in the store, (I’m not saying that it’s happening on here at all) I’ve just noticed a few anomalies here and there but nothing bad like ea.

Waiting for 2K’s lawsuit.
