I can’t find the plate with him. Everything he throws is either a ball or gets rocked for a three run homer. Anyone else struggling with him? Do I just not know how to pitch with him? Is he just garbage? Or is he garbage because all pitchers are garbage in this game?

I worked through 60+ wins in the event to get him and I sold him after I rolled him out once and he got crushed in the first three innings. Positive about that card? Still sells for over 800k. That's positive.

I’m pretty sure JV found Kate Upton through an old MLB The Show commercial. So SDS clearly made him the ultimate winner no matter how lousy his card is

He doesn’t have the pitch mix that is meta. You need outlier, a cutter and sinker. Great pitchers IRL are trash in this game.

They did those commercials for the MLB2k series. Maybe that’s why Verlander sucks in The Show, he shilled for a competitor.
