2k gameplay is insanely bad and the my team mode is somehow worse, every single part is made the maximize profit and they don’t care at all about the people playing the mode. There’s no real good way to make currency other then doing insanely boring stuff or gambling. MLB has so much free content IMO the best UT mode, best sports game gameplay and I wish there was a somewhat decent nba game.

Glad you brought this up (even though we’re gonna get condemned for talking about another game). I quit 2K after 2K19 due to what you said. If we had an NBA version of The Show, I don’t think I would ever get off that game.

If SDS ever implements contracts into their game like 2K does, it won’t be difficult for me to walk away from this game too.

I agree OP. Let them make an NBA game and NFL game because Madden is all about money as well. Could care less about the consumer. DD is by far the best UT hands down.

I didn’t mention a NFL game because that’s impossible for 6 more years

The answer would be no. San Diego Studios are a smaller first party studio under Sony. They've only primarily devolped MLB The Show. Being a 1st party studio is what allowed them to make MLB games when 2k blocked EA from making baseball games after EA got the exclusive NFL rights.
They don't have the staff or resources to do two large scale sports games. This jump to multiple platforms in 2021 is going to be interesting though.

100% agree! I love basketball and have been playing NBA games since way back when I played NBA Live. I had 2K19 but haven't bought 20 yet and have no plans to unfortunately. Basketball is my number 2 sport behind only baseball and I wish 2K was more like the show. My team is so difficult to have a competitive team unlike The Show unless you want to pay real money. And yes, I HATE the contracts!

They made an NHL game when they were called 989 sports it was pretty good, they would have to hire more devs but they could do it.
If they thought it would make money they would. -
