Just wanted to know if anyone has a good draft strategy for these showdowns. I drafted a decent bullpen, and have taken some starting pitchers but I’m getting towards the 2nd elimination challenge of the 1st inning showdown and I only have used Yu Darvish. Is it pointless to build around more than one starting pitcher?

Draft one silver SP and silver Closer and just stock up on diamond and gold hitters

All the boss challenges are hitting. So like the above post said 1 decent starter and reliever then stack hitters. Even if they on ur bench u wont need to pitch in the elimination challenges

If you find out what pitcher you face in the final showdown select as many hitters you can with good attributes versus that RH or LH.
So don’t take a platoon bat who crushes LHO if you’re going up against Verlander
