I think I would be ok with HOF at 650, even though they would have to change the format of RS. You get 400-650 on allstar and 650- 900 on HOF Pretty much dead even split. (I don’t count 0-400 because you can’t lose rating in those divisions anyway)

Since you have to get almost to 800 for a HOF game, it’s more like 1.5 HOF divisions bc WS is legend. I think HOF should start at 500 rating.

    No thanks

You actually enjoy all star difficulty? You’d be the first person ik.

Or they could just restrict you to matching with people that are on the same difficulty. That’d be fine imo as well

Would make RS way more tolerable.

Just lost another game that I out hit my opponent but my 14s are singles while his 10s are no doubters. It makes no sense. 🤣

Ranked Seasons pretty much is what it is at this point. I don't really see them making many alterations at this point to the game mode.

I feel like a good compromise would be that HOF starts at 600, but once you reach 600 you can't drop below it. Same rules apply for 700 and 800. Once you make WS you wouldn't drop below 900.

It encourages playing more without the fear most players have of having to play on HOF or getting knocked down from one level to another.

I know since people like to use RS as prestige grinding this year and will lose on purpose. However, I feel like online only stat grinds are just stupid. People are petty and shouldn't have control over your progress like that IMO.

EDIT: this also eliminates the worst part of RS as well which is the dreaded limbo hopping between AS and HOF. Hard to stay consistent when you bounce between levels with being pitch speeds and PCI. difficulty

Next year it would be nice if you at least split rs in half. Equal amount of divisions on hof and all star.
Right now u have 5 divisions on AS to 2 and a half on HOF. I say a half because u have to almost be into cs before u get a gurenteed hof game.
I just think the game should be played on a competitive difficulty level when it comes to rs not random all star.
I know everyone is tired of this take but its always a reminder to start the new season.

I think there should be two divisions. One for AS players and one for HOF players. The HOF rewards being slightly better. Then everyone is happy and can compete to WS in their division.

A home run counting more than a single makes no sense?

They either need to make pitch speeds universal with PCI size decreasing as you go, or introduce a difficulty-specific set of playlists for people to choose from.

I understand not wanting to alienate people that can't handle HoF or above. But I also avoided RS most of the year because I just don't want to play this game on All-Star in a "competitive environment." So it works both ways in a sense.

Have an AS playlist, HoF playlist and Legend playlist. AS can be for casual players or folks that just want to avoid too many sweaty games or to even try out cards. HoF can be for people like me that want competitive games where strategy and skill/input need to matter more. And Legend can be there for the highest level players to play each other without having to grind through lower levels "just because" and just open up the freedom to play.

I'd happily jump into a Legend game not expecting to win but expecting the game to be more tense and assume I'm gonna struggle against great players. I'd play almost exclusively on HoF. I would never play AS.

This is one of the only games I can remember playing online where I couldn't actually choose what I was playing and get forced to just go through the motions.
