Anyone else trying to make WS?

How is everyone doing? I have gone 14 and 8 with no disconnect losses since I purchased the power line. Still in the low 700s, but playing better
I had a rough week and am now in the 670s. I think I’m throwing in the towel. It’s just too stressful and time consuming for me.
I had a glimmer of hope when I hit 820, but I’m always late on a sinker. And, I’m pretty sure you can’t make WS if you can’t hit a sinker.
So, as they used to say in Brooklyn...Wait till next year.

The art of hitting the sinker is to start your swing as soon as you see the little upward movement when it comes out of the hand. Don't be afraid to look silly if it was a curveball or changeup instead of a sinker, those will hang more often and they'll resort to that once they figure out you can time up the hard stuff.

Yeah, not worth it if it's not fun for you anymore. It was cool keeping up with your progress. You were close man!

Thanks. I still think it’s possible, but I just don’t want it to feel like work. Maybe I’ll try again next year at the beginning of the year.

You captured it for me. I stress so much over RS but don’t feel that way for events , friendlies, etc.....pretty silly and a bit sad, lol

Don't want to keep raining but making ws in the beginning is pretty trash, the rewards aren't worth anything and they're outdated soon after. You should definitely try to make it in this game cycle.

I think getting to WS is probably easier in the beginning of the game, lots of great players now and I have a hard time cracking 800 consistently. After playing nothing but HOF for awhile I accidentally let the bar slide and almost lost a game on AS.
At this point I'm just trying to improve and experiment.
I'm hoping to pick up a PS5 soon and I'm curious to see if there's any difference in gameplay vs. the original ps4 I'm on. From what I can tell, there should be an improvement in processing and frame rate so that might make hitting a bit easier, perhaps smooth out the blinking fastballs and sinkers on my screen. -
Well this season ends tomorrow. I just hit championship series for the first time! I won't be able to get any more in before the next season starts, but I'm encouraged for next season. Where will I start next season if I am at 806 to end this one?

After making CS 4x in a row in my first year playing DD, I struggled mightily this season and am languishing in the low 600s after peaking around 770..... very rough season...
And for the post above, you will start at 700 if you finish at or above 800

Hmm. Maybe I should get in one and quit so I can start back in 450 or whatever it is. I'm tanking all my batting averages in HOF. I think 600-700 is a tough rank bc you have guys who are bouncing back in forth between HOF and All Star. When they get All Star games, they crush everything

This is on point ( I played so many WS banner guys when I was around 650-700 it was ridiculous)... plus it sucks when you are in that 700-760 range and don’t know if the game will be played on AS or HOF as pitching choices really matter between those 2
And you start at 550 if you finish in the 700s
