So, I think that @raesONE is in England, and @samguenther1987 is in Canada. IF this is correct: do you guys do anything this weekend?
I am enjoying some turkey and mashed potatoes.
Do you eat anything special? Or is there another time that you have something like this?
LAST: Are there holidays that you do that we don’t? -

LAST: Are there holidays that you do that we don’t?Actually I'm in The Netherlands. We don't do anything special this weekend, no. It's just a weekend like all the other weekends. We have some holidays that you don't, yeah. Kingsday is one of them, when we celebrate the birthday of our King and the whole country is free from work/school and there's events all over the country.

Yes i am in Canada and it's just another weekend. There are people who still celebrate it here but i personally have no plans at all other then to stay at home. The next big holliday is Christmas for us. (obviously)
We have Canada day (July 1st), family day (February 15th), and Victoria day (May 18th this year)

I remember growing up always seeing Dec 26th “Boxing Day” - Canada on our calendars here in the USA. Do you celebrate that?

Yes we also have boxing day. I forgot that Americans don't have that one.

Decided to do pickup from Denny's Restaurant on Turkey & Dressing Dinner. Don't judge me lol. Passed on big family thing due to Covid this year but still able to enjoy turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, the whole nine. Excited and feeling good because we eat this kind of meal only once a year, and I must say, it is delicious!
Well, I'm prepping to go from a joyous and thankful feeling to feelings of frustration by hopping into this RS game I'm about to begin.
Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!!!

Happy Thanksgiving fellas! It was just the wife and I this year and we Zoom'd with our families, not the same as seeing them in person but we had potential exposure this week (we're waiting on my wife's co-worker to get her test results) which reinforced the already zero chances we were willing to take in seeing them this year. Both our workplaces have had numerous cases over the past few weeks so there was no way in hell we were going to endanger our families.
Cooking a full Thanksgiving meal however was a rousing success. Did a 12lb. bird with stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes, roast cauliflower and brussel spouts, and creamed broccoli. Washed down with a few glasses of red wine and IPAs. All came out great! Much respect for anyone who cooks the family meal every year it was a lot of work.
Here's hoping all of you in the US had a great holiday, and all you folks outside the US had a great Thursday.
-
Happy Thanksgiving to you all. May your bellies be full and your families be safe!!

Day after Christmas. There’s sales at stores. It’s like Canada’s Black Friday except less chaotic.

Lol. Hopefully it is better tomorrow then normal.

I can finally listen to Christmas music in the open, not ashamed of it being early!

I murdered a turkey this morning. My neighbor keeps calling it his “dog” but I know better. It was a turkey.
