Sds raise Verlander’s 4 seam to 98 velo

We know you hate the tigers, you already did Miggy dirty with the same power as last year. Verlander threw absolute gas with the tigers and this is a travesty.

Baseball Savant shows Verlander's avg fastball speed at 95.5mph in 2011. I don't know how they judge it but I searched for a while and on different sites to figure it out and that is the consensus I am finding.

As I told you in the other thread his average fast ball seems low because he would throw 92-94 in the first 5 innings then crank it up to 99-100. Just because his average seems low doesn’t mean much considering there aren’t very many pitchers like him that crank it up in crunch time. From the 6th inning on he consistently hit 100

I have definitely seen him throw 100, not disputing that. I am not sure how they determine FB speed or what.

And degrom averaged around 96 from 2018-2019 and he has outlier, sds does not go by the stats so stop this argument

Madden forum is worse when it comes to players. Last year alone there were like 100 posts about Sean Taylor

I agree - after all the inflated future stars you could at least make verlander useable - he hits 100 so it’s not even a stretch.

I just may, this is a 1st ballot hall of famer not some future star rookie Nate Pearson with better stats that I saw consistently this year average around 97 mph

Wrong. Explain Rickey going from 98-99 speed from people screaming [censored] murder over something that makes zero gameplay difference? A pitcher hitting 96-98 consistently as opposed to 98-101 makes a noticeable difference competitively. Did people complaining about Rickey only having 98 speed bug you this much too?
