Start with the Topps Now, monthly missions and Player Programs and stack up on the free juiced cards.
Do Conquests to get lots of free packs.
Then, work on the Finest Showdown (incredibly easy) and grind the best Team Affinity programs.

The Showdowns cost stubs per entry , right? Kind of like BR? If so, I would imagine it wouldn't make sense to start those until I have some stubs to spare.

Usually if you beat 2-3 missions in showdown you get your stubs back immediately

That's good to know. I may wait until I have at least a few conquest games under my belt so I can get a feel for the hitting and pitching, but if it's relatively low risk then I'll give it a shot sooner rather than later.

Conquests all day. Packs for days and you can use the diamonds to play with until you sell for upgrades

I think I remember seeing that there was a map similar in pack quality to the Shark Map from last year. Is there a specific map I should check out first?

Any of the newer ones are very good. As you go backward, they get a little worse with each one. If I were doing conquests en masse at this point, I'd start with the 10th (or 11th today) and go back through the innings. Probably stop around 4th/5th since the rewards taper off a lot, if I remember correctly.

    Great, thanks. That's very helpful.

All the TA conquest maps contain 6-8 hidden packs, stubs and XP. Upon completion, you get a 5 pack bundle, and a Finest pack.

There is also a shark map that contains a lot of choice packs hidden in them too.

Do the duck conquest map. Loaded with choice packs like HRD,Prospects I think i even remember a beach ball pack. Then yeah RIB showdown/Conquest. You can earn your entry back pretty easy in the RIB showdown so I wouldnt worry about that. If you can bare running thru the topps now n playoffs you can really load up but its probably going to take you a few days but you will be loaded with cards for it dont sell any playoffs cuz you will need to collect just about all of them to get seager but tbh he really isnt worth it. Id focus on aug topps/monthly awards

I would start with Conquest Maps by Simulating all games avoid taking over strongholds get all the hidden rewards. You will pick up packs for days. You can use the diamonds to build a good squad. The rest sell on market for stubs or exchange for team collection. There is really no need to do the team collection this late into the game.

If you dig really deep into what every conquest map has to offer then almost every map after the 3rd inning is better than last year’s shark map. The original shark map seems alot better than it was because it was the first to have good hidden rewards

Do all the Team Affinity conquest maps. You get a ton of packs plus a finest pack every map. It won’t take you long to build a competitive team.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t know if the Stage 4 showdown can be redeemed if you haven’t reached Stage 3 yet.

I was originally planning on skipping The Show 20, but with it being on sale today for $10 I decided to download and play around with it a bit leading up to 21.

My question is...where should I start? Obviously I'm starting out with a team of mostly bronze and common cards so I'm not jumping into ranked yet. I assume moments are the way to go to get some starter diamonds based on my experience with 19, but which ones should I focus on to put together a passable team? I tried the Corey Seager program moments (or whatever they were called), and after completing the first one I got one diamond from that. I've also got no stubs to my name, so the market isn't a viable option yet.

I knew installation would be quick with the SSD on the PS5, but I was shocked at how quickly the 50 GB file size downloaded from the server. I was actually in the game's menu and past that painful opening game you usually get stuck playing within minutes of purchasing.

hey buddy look forward to playing with ya a game if you want

I knew it wouldn't take too long to put together a solid squad, but I didn't think I could get it done in a couple of hours. I finished all of the post season moments and accomplished most of the post season missions while playing conquest. I now have 27 diamonds , 26 of which are post season players. I've got Orlando Hernandez in the rotation (he was in my Ducks on the Pond pack). Not bad for a couple of hours and not even visiting the marketplace once.

That would be cool. I'll be pretty busy this weekend, but maybe sometime next week.
