What decides who is Home and Away?
-
I think I’m doing something wrong. I’ve been the visiting team 10 event games in a row. What does one have to do to get home field advantage?
-
INCONCEIVABLE!
Honestly it just seems really random. Sometimes it goes the other way and it seems like you get 7-8 home games in a row.

If that’s a Princess Bride reference, I’m into it!

I’m lucky, most of my games are home games.

How many times did opponents back out during this 10 game stretch? Those games, the back out ones, you were home team.

Not necessarily. I see a lot of event guys want to be road team as they bat than quit.

my experience has been mostly grinder super try hards... guys playing red diamonds, non prestige cards... I'm gonna be honest im playing the event looking for some easy hits. I've backed out of a bunch of games when my opponent was just throwing balls trying to paint corners... I do get guys are trying to prestige pitchers, but in alot of these cases guys are pitching non prestige or already prestiged guys... weird.

Back out? Like, rage quit? Never. I'm not good enough. Which is partly why I don't like being the road team. I lose too many games and then only get 2 innings credited to my players. I'm trying to get to the 150 online innings for the Nationals, because then I get Soto.

no, before the game, in the pitcher choice screen, you can tell who's home and away by the lag. so if there's lag a lot of players just back out and try again till they draw home.
Personally I don't mind playing road, I just start a pitcher with the road warrior quirk.
