My question would be this:
Instead of losing 11 straight, why not do the RIB showdown 2 or 3 times, sell the cards and then buy the last FOTF you need with those stubs?
Seems like less pain.

Yeah OP, SDS servers totally sent Ramone an email alert letting him know someone was 1 card away from Trout and he single handedly took control of the CPU during showdown in order to block you forever.

Classic Ramone.

I'm a very inexperienced show schmuck and I've had Trout for months...

I’m a very experienced Show grinder. I have almost every single card. And I love the Showdown. I’m pretty [censored] good at them too. But for the last week, I have not been able to beat Stage 1 AL Central. I need one more FOTF to get Trout. I have failed I think 11 straight now. I no longer think it’s me. I think there’s something going on. Please give it a try and let me know what you think? Thanks.
How do you have almost every single card but not have Trout yet? You get Trout by having a certain amount of each type of card.

Stage 1 mission before the final showdown. Down 6-1 in the bottom of the 9th and comeback for the win? In what world is that anywhere close to fair? Asking for me.
-
Very next and last mission, one pitch, low and outside of the strike zone, CPU blasts it to left center. Still waiting for someone to try this mission again and post the time stamped results. I’ll wait.
-
just do the exchanges to get past stage 1 Showdowns. Stage 2 and above are much easier
-
Its perfectly ok to be good at all the other Showdowns save one, you're batting .750-ish if not higher; no shade from me.
-
Update. Just battled back and took the final showdown against kopech with a 7-15 differential. I am finally done. I swear this game f’s with us though.

The Stage 1 Showdowns were the most difficult in a sense of how the challenges were set up. After these came out the difficulties were lower for longer and you started with RISP sometimes for example.
