Please turn off online only stat missions from inning programs. People who play offline only need something to achieve and adding a few more stat grinds can help us enjoy this game a little further. I don't see how it can benefit online players as they probably completed them all or their roster wouldn't be improved by gaining any players these lead to.

I would like to see the same for Prestige players as well but I can understand that online players could benefit from it at this point.

100% agree. I realize they wanted to lure people into playing online, but at this point if you’re not playing online already those missions are not going to convince you to.

I’m for this too, but that isn’t going to happen this year. They are too invested in moments for everything in the game.

I used to be offline only, but now I actually hate playing offline. If you play online for stats, missions and Prestige, and don't care about winning, it is addictive. There are ways to only playing bad players online and as you get better, you don't need to use tricks anymore.

I play both. I like going back and forth. When I get tired or frustrated with one I jump on the other. Love it. First year playing DD and I have a winning record online woot woot

I am a .245 online hitter and below .500 and I have 31 prestiged players. My one piece of advice online is only use hitters you are good with. Some of my best offline hitters are my worst online hitters. I am hitting .145 with Mantle online and .384 with Yelich online.

I think this would be good too, look at what's going on right now with the events and the limited number of players to be used. If I want to continue on teh prestige path I have to play RS, I'm trying to get to WS so I'm not playing constant RS games so trying to prestige Trout or Gehrig is impossible right now when playing against high level competition.

The events are really the big place to get prestige done, and I actually really like this event, since it went to 3 innings I knocked out the wins quick and locked up the Goose. Now, I'll probably play more RS but I really like being able to play shorter games with my team.

As an offline player, give me all the conquests while jamming these moments straight up someone's [censored]. The Brian Anderson moment has single handedly has ruined any (which wasn't much) enjoyment I had for moments.

They almost make it mandatory to get online to excel the most..,, I got to a point now I don’t even do the only daily missions just do the 2 offline ones

Totally agree with this...I HATE, And I mean HATE playing event games against the scum of humanity. I would much prefer a Babe Ruth program type grind. Playing people online has turned me into someone who prays for an asteroid to hit the Earth and end everything.

I disagree and here is why

DD is a 2 tier game mode of offline and online modes. To turn off online mission or requirements then you are taking away from one of the aspects of the mode.

I have said this before numerous time that if you are only going to play half the mode you only will get half of the experience. Now before we all get into a debate about well that's not fair and this and that. Let's look at the one example where SDS themselves did all offline mission MLB 18. It didnt work because those who wanted to play online where not reward or where put at a disadvantage because it was easier to just bring on Rookie for the best cards it create a notice unbalanced approach to rewards and play style. As well MLB 18 is consider the worst version in the series and yet we still have calls to go back to a format like that

DD is and will always be online and offline if you are choosing to only play 1 way then you are limiting your options and what you are eligible to either complete or obtain.

The reason we see those calls is because there's so little to do in singleplayer with our DD card collections.

Especially, there's no meaningful nine-inning DD games (as opposed to moments) that we can actually get things like TA innings in. The only things that count for DD are conquest (3-inning road games) and play vs. CPU (meaningless). MLB 18 at least had plenty of entertaining, non-trivial objectives that could be done in play vs. CPU - innings are a mindless background task and there isn't near enough to do to make those innings entertaining.

An option to play conquest with nine-inning games and randomized home/away would go so, so far.
