Strike zone. It gives you the largest view of the strike zone, and more pixels on your TV to see the ball. Started using it in MLB 18 and never looked back.

I switched from Strike Zone to Zoom and found that it's easier to get harder hits. I had a 26 hit game on all-star, before jumping back into hall of fame games this ranked season.

With the extended view and ability to see the batter, it's easier to swing at the ball in accordance with the batter's stance. This creates more swings that are on the early side of good, which seems to be the meta this year.

    Thank you.

This is a nice bit of detail about why zoom might help - specifically on trying to get earlier swings. I didn't notice this about zoom before, but I've seen some videos on trying to swing when your batter steps for the best timing. That's pretty hard to do in SZ2 as maybe you see part of their leg if they have a more noticeable stepping motion. In SZ2 its impossible.

I've personally switched to Mlb Show 16 view a few times if im struggling with SZ2. I noticed I can hit pitches that break horizontally such as cutters and sliders a bit better. Also seemed to be able to recognize fastballs a bit better.

One thing that might really help is pitching with that same view you're batting with. It will help you recognize balls faster as well as good pitches to hit.

This is what I have always done. It helps my accuracy in pitching, as well.

I tried that once, and raked. Then tried it again, and couldn't hit a thing. Is it worth trying again? I normally do the default one, I think. Just near where the ump is.
Edit: What pitching view should I use? I normally do the one behind him, the normal one. (At least for me)
Does strike zone help for pitching?

The Show 16 is underrated. Especially for people that can’t catch up to a fastball.

I switched to this one a while back when I was slumping. Helped break me out a bit and I also noticed I was definitely catching up to fastballs.
