I love having lefties or switch hitters where I can and I'm a big fan of diamond fielding but I'm a little disappointed by the speed and it would be the most expensive card I've ever bought. So like the title says, is Alomar worth it?

He is a luxury if you the coins, as someone who has all of these guys, he is not one I would say “worth it”

Unless you're a Alomar superfan it would not be worth it. You can pretty much field Rollins at short and pretend that's Alomar.

I'm a Rollins super fan and absolutely love him but if your saying Alomar plays like a 60k-70k card I might pass for now. I guess the play is wait for Morgan or keep playing Biggio.

No he's not "worth" it, but i love him and he's my leadoff hitter, it's a great card.

I can confidently say all of this years BR rewards are irrelevant. There are better options in every position for way cheaper.

None of those BR rewards are “worth” the price tag. There are of course better options. More of a trophy card. If you want the card and have the stubs buy him and try him out

I would say the fact that Jackie is basically a free 99 that has elite speed and great defense at multiple positions where Alomar is only second base. Jackie also has better numbers for contact and power and clutch.

There is also the grind for Tatis Jr monthly card who is a great card. I have a limited experience with him but already have 3 HR with him.
