I don't think I have quit out of more than 5 in any previous game. This game's matchmaking is flat out terrible. I was honestly hoping that the game would play great on the new router and I was prepared to post a thread eating crow and apologizing to SDS. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. It wasn't the network box. It is just poor matchmaking on SDS' part.

It’s an easy win, I love when people rage quit. Give me the points and let me rest my bullpen and move onto the next game.
I’ve only quit out of a handful of games, and always in the 6th inning or later in a game I knew I had no chance of winning. Sometimes it makes more sense to rest the bullpen rather than waste their stamina mopping up innings in a blowout

Why is it that I don’t see these issues that you speak of. I mean generally speaking I know when I’ve made a bad pitch. And I also pay close attention to a pitchers attributes because that will dictate whether I can expect to hang good input pitches. And if I’m using someone that can do that on occasion I make adjustments like intentionally throwing pitches out of the zone so as to not hang the pitch. My connection is a normal 300 mbps plan and (knock on wood) I don’t disconnect or have connection related issues that you’re describing. Why is this? It just seems to that some people complain for the sake of complaining because they think that their skill is better than it really is. And when something goes wrong it must be something or someone else’s fault. That’s my observation for the most part. Even content creators rarely complain like some people I see in these forums. So again I ask why are we so different than you? What are we doing differently other than either you have a bad provider or you’re really not as good as you claim to be. And this isn’t a knock on you it’s just the reality of the situation.

If google fiber is bad, then guess so. Fiber is regarded as the best internet in the U.S.
Your 300 mbps plan is irrelevant. That number doesn't mean anything when it comes to online video games. I've never had problems making WS in this game multiple times per game. Haven't made it on this one. Guess my skills just "eroded". lol

Bro how long have you been playing this year? Things like that happen all the time. Pitches miraculously go where they want regardless of the input. I’ve hit home runs where my PCI was no where near the [censored] ball. I’m not going through the list but those two are evidence enough to quit. I know RNG is present but when it’s that obvious I’m out I don’t care what inning it is

You’re entitled to your opinion I’m just saying that I take responsibility for my results and don’t blame things like “RNG”, p/p input not going over the wall or magical bad pitches. I’m a 700-800 player consistently and occasionally make ws when I have the time to do it. I have all of 11 losses in RS at the time of this post. What makes my situation so different from those that constantly complain about everything under the sun to justify their results? I pitch to a decent 2.9-3 era and I have a team batting average exceeding .320. Im not special. I just play and take responsibility for the mistakes I make. It just boggles my mind that people rationalize their results by blaming things that they can’t prove and use anecdotal evidence as their crutch.

Bandwidth is most definitely a must to game consistently online. Quality of service is also a must for a pleasant gaming experience. Being a network engineer for Comcast I have a rather unique perspective on what your arguing. If you’re signal quality is bad then you’re going to have issues no matter what service youre using. And when I’m talking about signal quality I’m not talking about the rf spectrum I’m talking about bit error rate and modulation error rate which dictate both your picture quality and internet quality in a qam based system which is how you recieve your service. Whether you have fiber or coax it doesn’t matter if these problems are present. So please don’t give me a lecture on something that you clearly don’t have an understanding of. If I were you I would find out what the jitter looks like when you do a speed test. If your jitter is lower than 10 ms than you most likely don’t have the problems I’ve stated above. If it exceeds 10 ms than you might need to contact your ISP to troubleshoot what is going on. It could be as simple as bad wiring or as complicated as cracked fiber in the system or broke trunk cable in a coax system.

And btw there is zero difference in fiber internet and coax internet. 100 mbps is same in both environments. The only difference is how you receive the service. That statement is the height of ignorance. Have a good day.

Yes, you have to complete an RS game to get them or you can back out of DD and then log back in to DD and they should be there

I’ve hit home runs where my PCI was no where near the [censored] ball. I’m not going through the list but those two are evidence enough to quit. I know RNG is present but when it’s that obvious I’m out I don’t care what inning it is
You’re entitled to your opinion I’m just saying that I take responsibility for my results and don’t blame things like “RNG”, p/p input not going over the wall or magical bad pitches. I’m a 700-800 player consistently and occasionally make ws when I have the time to do it. I have all of 11 losses in RS at the time of this post. What makes my situation so different from those that constantly complain about everything under the sun to justify their results? I pitch to a decent 2.9-3 era and I have a team batting average exceeding .320. Im not special. I just play and take responsibility for the mistakes I make. It just boggles my mind that people rationalize their results by blaming things that they can’t prove and use anecdotal evidence as their crutch.
I have lost over 300 games with over 200 disconnects. You really think I care about losing? There is an issue with the game. It IS that simple.

Finally talked the wife into getting rid of google TV (since we were paying too much anyway and didn't really need it). Got a really good router and set up qos. Hasn't seemed to matter at all. Still play people with [censored] connections. Still run into the same garbage.
Why quit? Why play a game when I know the outcome in the first inning? Why should I waste 45 minutes of my time on a game I already know what's going to happen? Maybe the guy put the pitch on the low outside corner with perfect release and it went over the middle of the plate. That is just one of many signs that your connection to your opponent isn't good and there will be plenty of bs to come. I have quit out of 200 games this year. I don't think I have quit out of more than 5 in any previous game. This game's matchmaking is flat out terrible. I was honestly hoping that the game would play great on the new router and I was prepared to post a thread eating crow and apologizing to SDS. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. It wasn't the network box. It is just poor matchmaking on SDS' part.

My connection is a normal 300 mbps plan and (knock on wood) I don’t disconnect or have connection related issues that you’re describing. Why is this? Your 300 mbps plan is irrelevant. That number doesn't mean anything when it comes to online video games. I've never had problems making WS in this game multiple times per game. Haven't made it on this one. Guess my skills just "eroded". lol

Being a network engineer for Comcast I have a rather unique perspective on what your arguing. If you’re signal quality is bad then you’re going to have issues no matter what service youre using. And when I’m talking about signal quality I’m not talking about the rf spectrum I’m talking about bit error rate and modulation error rate which dictate both your picture quality and internet quality in a qam based system which is how you recieve your service. Whether you have fiber or coax it doesn’t matter if these problems are present. So please don’t give me a lecture on something that you clearly don’t have an understanding of. If I were you I would find out what the jitter looks like when you do a speed test. If your jitter is lower than 10 ms than you most likely don’t have the problems I’ve stated above. If it exceeds 10 ms than you might need to contact your ISP to troubleshoot what is going on. It could be as simple as bad wiring or as complicated as cracked fiber in the system or broke trunk cable in a coax system.
I mean that first line is a matter of symantecs. One one hand I could argue bandwidth is a must. You must have like 3 mb up/2 mb down (something like this) in order to play online games. From that statement, I could also argue that bandwidth is not a must but ping, jitter and packet loss matter the most.
You are a network engineer and you are saying that fiber and coax are the same? Seriously. Not when talking gig speeds. I like that you use this when saying less than 100 to make cable internet look better. It is not. Fiber is far superior.

I never said fiber and coax are the same, I said their is no difference in internet speeds regardless of how it’s delivered. 100 mbps is the same as 100 mbps just as 1 gig is the same as 1 gig. There is zero difference in the speed. And you’re wrong fiber is not superior to coax. It’s just a different way to deliver you the same service. And a lot of linesman will say they prefer coax network over fiber because of the ease of maintenance. The only difference between fiber and coax, besides the actual infrastructure itself, is the amount of attenuation of the signal between point a and point b. Fiber will attenuate at a much lower rate than coax so coax must be amped from node to customer. Whereas there is virtually no attenuation between a fiber node and the customer. As far as the service provided the only gain you get with fiber service is symmetrical upload and download speeds. And upload speeds are virtually useless in residential service unless you’re running or maintaining servers but normal internet use which includes gaming doesn’t require but a small amount of upload bandwidth Even if youre a content provider for twitch, YouTube, or any other social media service. At least get your facts straight and not take what I say out of context.
