Conquest Extreme

I assume there is no way to just capture the non-stronghold hexagons without playing the Steal Fans games?
I tried skipping them and my path always gets cut off.

This is not the right map for the 'conquer all empty fields and then go after the strongholds' strategy. As you have to conquer all strongholds by a certain round to win, i'd focus on getting that done. In my first playthrough, I went from stronghold to stronghold and conquered 6 in their required round, stole the 16 m fans and am now in the progress of finishing the map. Then it's just a case of restarting and doing the 'conquer the ..... stronghold in or before round ....' one by one. As long as you are comfortable playing some games at HOF level it's very doable, just takes a while.

I should have followed some of the YouTube tutorials. I'm on my last run-through of this map, but it's taken me way longer than it should have.

I just wanted the Prospect and HRD packs right now.
Needed all the 40K and up Prospects to get 99 Trout.
Got the 3 packs and got all 3 base rounds. Want worth the 15K.
Just bought what I needed.
