Extreme showdown might as well be Extreme RNG

I mean Jesus freakin' Christ! Showdown is turning into nothing other than hitting the ball, crossing your fingers, and hoping the RNG doesn't completely bone you.
I just lost Showdown Extreme to Paxton. Down 1 with a guy on 1st I hit a ball HR distance that got robbed by the computer. That should have been my first clue that this wasn't happening. And of course the next guy hits into a double play.
I eventually get the winning run on 1st and pinch run a speed threat. Computer's first pitch is a ball so I figure behind in the count they won't pitch out. WRONG! They pitch out and throw me out because, you know, realism. That leaves me in a tie game with 2 outs left. My last two hitters go "perfect" swing for an out and a one-hopper right at the first baseman to finish it off.

The always can pitch out with 1 ball or less. Get it to a 2-0, 2-1 count.

I honestly understand that the developers at SDS don't care about anything other than the content that brings in all the microtransactions. I get that those are where the money's at. But at what point do you look at yourself and have at least a little bit of pride and say "we need to tighten this [censored] up and let player's user input have the final say."

I understand that, and I appreciate the insight, but that's not the point. NOBODY is pitching out in a 1-0 count in real life unless they've picked up on signs and KNOW that the guy on first is going. You just don't pitch out to fall behind 2-0 (in fact, nobody really pitches out at all any more).

Yeah but.. the game. We all know they do. Kinda late to complain about it now lol. They ALWAYS do. Even if you have a guy 74 speed 65 steal.

Well this game isn't real life and the computer always pitches out 1-0 if they didn't pitch out on the first pitch.

I'm going to be honest and I admit I am in the minority here but I thought showdown extreme was going to be impossible and did it easily first try just by convincing myself to take pitches. Sure I wish they threw in a few ballins or headliners in the rewards too for each mini boss but it was easy enough. Now the moments I don't even want to think about trying to hit 3 home runs with Yelich.

I thought they already had Showdown Extreme. It was the first Showdown released. Beating Ohtani was about as hard as I could handle. This stuff is going to give me an ulcer.

It’s been tough. I had 3 straight perfect perfect hits and 2 were warning trackers and one didn’t even get to the dirt. All with 108+ exit velo and decent loft angles. All 3 hit by 80+ power guys.

Good Lord! Should it be called EXTREME and just be.... mundane? Cry more is all I can say.
