Events at this point into the game should definitely be about prestiging you do realize it’s September there’s only 5 months left in the games cycle and there’s a [censored] ton of guys you can prestige. Also None of the 3 rewards are very good or would start in most teams so grinding for them is just about getting more cards for trout which will turn off a lot of players. In the 1st event the wait was long to get a game in imagine now.
And that wasn’t a problem with events with practically the exact same rules for the last 3 years. I will continue to preach that prestiging ruined events. Plenty of people played events like this before 20. Now that you can prestige the same people don’t play these events because they want that sense of accomplishment for +3 attributes that make a minimal impact on the card. Events was a great mode before prestige cards were introduced. It isn’t great anymore. See a trend there?

Pretty safe bet that after Dead Ball 3 we get into PS Events.......won't need any Mets cards.

For me the concept of prestige is cool what makes it annoying is the amount of stats you have to accumulate. I understand bc of Covid many are home and many have them done but imagine if this was a normal year I imagine only a handful would have prestige cards. So to have events tailored to helping guys that don’t have the time was cool.

Yeah I like the concept of prestige too, but it was poorly executed. I think it should have been a +3 in stats and change the diamond to red on the same card(work like an inside edge boost), instead of giving you a whole new card. SDS even said when prestige was first announced that it was meant to be a trophy for using a card for a long period of time(anyone who got Mantle pretty early was always going to get it done naturally). It turned into people thinking its a task they need to do, like stat missions from 18. The original intent was surely not to have people change their team names to _____ with ______ and I quit or hitting and quitting event games.

Good for you, i have 6 wins, all from people who quit playing at some point in the game, and i just cant even bring myself to play this garbage. Id rather mindlessly flip cards for an hour than subject myself to more of this.

Yep, I need 3 wins tonight to hit 50. Already prestiged Kershaw and Johnson in this event and am halfway with Marichal. Everyone else I would ever use is done.
I will knock out those 3 and give this deadball 2 event the finger walking away.

I was really hoping to get maddux prestiged in this event I guess not. Bring back moonshot. That was pretty fun and a bunch of new cards to use.

New event is good for completing daily missions which require silver pitchers and bronze hitters.

Ok, that may be a little harsh, but the gameplay keeps going downhill. I defended it for as long as I could.
