Difficulty Keeping Left Stick Under Control

Try kontrol freeks. I’d start in the middle size wise with the green cqc’s. That way if your not comfortable with the pair you bought you have an idea if you need to go shorter or taller. I have the green cqcs and a tall cod pair. Once your use to them you won’t take them off.

Just got Control Freeks (the tall ones), and they really help. Looking to buy the precision rings mentioned above.

I end up having to trim the rings a bit so i can get to the high and low pitches. They do limit youre range, the black ones really limit youre range. Ive found trimmed black works the best.

They should have a sensitivity bar for the pci so that we can adjust the speed movement to go faster or slower, kind of like aiming in shoot 'em up games. Of course, just leave it at default if you like just the way it is currently.

I've found that I've had the most success in the All-Timers program when I have a firm grip on the left stick. When I don't bear down on it (which is uncomfortable when done repeatedly), my PCI goes all over the place, from here to Timbuktu.
My thumb on its own doesn't have enough tread/friction to hold the stick where I want it. I did really well when I injured my left thumb and had to wear gauze for a bit (an unintentional life hack) so I'm looking for something that will give me a similar amount of control.
Suggestions?
Yeah, put gauze on your thumb

Agreed. Hopefully next season.

They really should at that feature, I'm tired of the PCI shooting up or down because of a minor movement, such as if my thumb slips just a little.

What i want is no rubberband effect, at least give me an option for it. If i put the PCI up and in and then let off the stick, it stays there. Too many times i put the PCI in the right place only to move it out of the place.

It's one of the reasons i can't dive into RS yet. I've hit countless foul HR's and left small villages on bases too much to have a RS game be decided because of it. My baserunning is still awful as well, fwiw.

I disagree about the pci sensitivity being able to be changed. It may be an unpopular opinion but not jamming the pci up or down like an ape is part of the skill gap. That being said I still jam mine like a mad man but im working on it and have gotten better.

I use pressure rings. They slow down the movement and make it harder to move the pci.
Just to be sure. Pressure rings from hardware, or is there something in the gaming world called pressure rings?
Also, you just put them on the shaft of the stick? -
No they go under the sticks. They are a foam type material that slows the motion.
