Best Pleasant Surprise Out Of The Bullpen?
-
I was just wondering who the pleasant surprises (if any) for you guys have been. Like, what relievers aside from the obvious ones ended up being dominant. Mine is Hader 89. Have him at a 1.02 ERA and .072 BA vs righties, as well as a .102 against lefties. Dude is my go to.

I would not suggest using him against higher skilled players. He will get crushed as his fastball isn’t fast enough to force you to sit on it and his slider is only average at best. He’ll most likely get a finest card. That’s the one I’d use as he’ll be given a change-up to compliment his 2 fastballs. But pitcher preference is ultimately user subjectivity. But to answer your question Tyler Alexander has been my surprise pitcher as he has probably the best slider in the game and his curveball is a wipeout pitch if used properly.

96 Smoltz.

He's not still on my team but 90 Franco is a really good cheap card.

Romo has been surprisingly good for me. I had very low expectations for him this year since sliders in general seem to be less effective across the board.

Love that card. Nobody ever expects him, and his Screwball is amazing.

I hate that they changed his pitching animation from last year

Gagne is lock down. Both of his cards

Romo. He dint quiet have the exaggerated pitch speeds difference this year as years past, at least I dint feel he did. But guys flail at him like any other year.

Tyler Alexander all the way. Or Breakout Blake Treinen.
