Thought it gets more difficult the higher you go?

cbrev posted a video with a good idea. early in the year RS ratings are like 19. as better cards come out HOF could start at 550 legend at 800 so you have to make a good run on legend for WS

I would think it would just make more sense to have HOF from 0-900 and then legend 900+ and just get rid of All star its just stupid to have in RS. Go play friendly or casual online if you want your PCI to be the entire size of the box man. This is competitive play not T ball.

There are guys that are batting under .200 in spring training which is veteran. You want them to try to hit on hall of fame now? That's a great way to keep people playing.
That's not to say hall of fame should only be 7-800's.

I think this would be less of an issue if all the difficulties played equally consistently. I guess we will see how it is this year, but I’m not optimistic that it will change much.

All I ask is that you should start on hof the 2nd season if you finished 800+ no more all star at 650.

Buncha whiners about everything you all are, seriously. The difficulty settings are as fair as it gets. Something like 10% of players can hit well on HOF. I also calculated that about only 300 people on the world can hit even something like .250 on legend. This game does a fine enough job towards the best of the best while not alienating the largest player base that actually makes them money.

600 is closer to the end (the highest level of the game) than the beginning, I don’t think it’s too much to ask to have it be on hall of fame, especially when you can’t guarantee yourself a hall of fame matchup until I think it’s 765

And how did you arrive at that calculation? Because you can't account for people who haven't played on legend because they don't have the time to reach it.

The 300 people in the world thing is definitely bs lol. Ik a lot of players that hit over .350 on legend. My best season was .399 and I was hitting .375 when I reached 900 and I’m not even one of the very best players. Imo it’s sometimes easier to hit on legend because it’s often more rewarding

    That's hilarious.

If guys are batting under .200 in spring training, then they should stick to playing casual, CPU or whatever mode that doesn't effect their rating points. Make RS more competitive as it should be. Let's not cater to the scrubs that get a fluke win off a far superior team because of poor gameplay. We've gone through enough years of that already. And I'm saying all this as what I consider myself to be just an average player.

Maybe you could stretch that 300 successful hitters to 600 on legend. But Mitch, you are to the point of being trollish about how good you are at hitting worldwide. Give yourself some credit? Or maybe you are being overly modest on purpose. Either way I think you seriously lack perspective when thinking about the majority of the player base. I guess that's what its like to be so [censored] good at a game.

This is what makes the most sense while not being condescending. Lots of people enjoy competitive online play but shouldn't because of "get good" mentality. Problem is, if I can't play for 3-5 days because of something called life, I need a couple games before I get back in a rhythm. Put HoF on a lower rung, maybe 600, and make the ranking reset less severe so that the hardcore guys stop b-ing all the time. Everyone gets something and no one is aggravated.
