Cool little feature for those who disconnect
-
So Street Fighter V is the new PS Plus game of the month and I’m like what the heck let me try it out since I’m bored waiting for the ps5. They have a little feature that tells players online who disconnects a lot by adding a badge to their name, and also a badge for players who stay for their full match. Immediately I thought to myself the show should implement this to know the type of opponent we go against online. I would post a picture but idk how to on here.

Don't know how it would make a difference. Once you're matched up with someone it is what it is, nothing we can do. We can't see the person's name/profile prior to the loading screen.

2K had something similar when they had the MLB 2K series. You were able to rank your opponent after playing a game against them. The only problem was the idiots that are sore losers and give a bad rating when they got beat fair and square. It's just not a fair rating system.

Iirc, mlbts had something like this early in DD too. '13 or' 14. And yeah, basically what you said would happen happened.

It actually matches you with the same type of player you are more often. So if you play the game out, basically a good sport, you’ll be matched with opponents like you.

Update: I found an image, so basically the person would get less xp and be matched with players who disconnect like them and good players play with the good players.

So if someone quit out a couple games in a row they could essentially go play the quiters and get easy wins. It seems kinda ehh still.
-
They should do what GTA does and put some dunce caps on them for a while and make them play each other a few times.

That’s what they do basically because according to their rules the get less xp which is harder to keep leveling up and get restricted from certain things.

But it will make them harder to level up and keep them away from the people who actually want to play a full game.

Eh. I disagree with this idea. Too much involved to be effective.

To each their own then
