The cost of this POTM has me really thinking about selling all I don’t have locked into Trout... I wanted to acquire but that was at 24 players needed now it’s 30 plus

Don't sell yet. You don't know how many will be needed. I don't think it will take all of them. Just my opinion, though.

This is one of the worst post I've read!! First its so easy to make stubs by playing the game! Second they give us free cards all the time! EA IS THE WORST COMPANY OUT THERE!! second usually potm cost anywhere from 200k to 500k in years past to complete !!

I haven't spent a dime on stubs, and I have every collection completed, including super Trout collection. I also have 99's Alomar, Piazza, Wiliams, Donaldson, Sale, Henderson, Wagner, Carter, etc.

They didn't give all of the cards for free, close to 1/2 at the most I'd say. I was speaking more for getting that POTM card for the Trout collection, a lot of people have already dropped hundreds on hundreds to get that card.
The potm cards don't give u a trout voucher. Just the topps now and u should already have enough of those without spending a penny
I have trout and didn't spend a dime. U can make 50k a day easily flipping, 100 if u put a little more time into it. -
If you've been playing since release, you should easily have over 1 million stubs and collections complete, NMS. If you decided to not do any of the player programs or TA's, well that's on you I suppose.
There is no reason to buy stubs in this game, it's been that way since I started playing DD.

Like many other business models in the world, our weaknesses are exploited. Some more than others. If you have an addictive tendency, well, there you go. The rewards keep us going back for more. There is no end. Think of Pavlov's dogs and operant conditioning (look it up if unfamiliar). Then, there are the subliminal message in the music. Anyone ever really listen to the lyrics in one of the songs while navigating the menus? "you're spending like a cash machine" is one line. lol. It comes down to choice ultimately. We know this, and SDS knows this.

God I remember those... I absolutely hated them. The equipment was literally worthless and the system pretty much locked you out of using those cards.

I have several issues with this company regarding connections, DDA and rewarding user input. Content is not one of them. I got a 95 very usable 95 Lester last night with less than one hour grinding after I had the strikeouts. Pretty sure you can't do that with Madden. SDS does very well with content. They have a lot of work to do with online game play.

There are 27 Tops Now cards, 17 of them are free if you do the moments. Last year you couldn't even chose who you got so I consider this a huge win this year. I remember wishing for a diamond last year and instead getting a silver or gold card.
