I don’t get it...

Literally played about 10 games today because I had nothing else to do and it was my day off, and all my opponents got reward for bad timing on there swings.... Like I legit don’t understand what you have to do.... yet all my good timed good Pci’d swings gets caught most of the time... like wtf is the strategy after that? Just pray you’ll win?? On RNG???

Welcome to the hell of the show. They will throw unbelievable content at us that is utterly worthless because hitting is almost unbearable.

Just played a guy who had like 6 late swings base hits. But I had routine flyouts on good timing with the ball in the middle of the PCI with 125 PWR prestige Thome and 125 PWR Harper. It's literally just a dice roll at this point.
I'd give my left nut for SDS just to release SOMETHING that says "this is how hitting works and this is what determines outcome" but they won't because I honestly believe there's so much randomness built in that there isn't a way to explain it

play a 100 and it'll even out. Plenty of times I've hit perfect perfect just to line drive for an out. I've also squibbed some to drive home the winning run..... much like real baseball. To answer your question more directly it may have to do with your pitcher vs the pitcher you are playing. H/9 is an important attribute

This has actually been a problem that rolled over from last year's MLB19.

Yeah good/good is ironically, not good this year as far as results. You need perfect/perfect (and pray it doesnt go right at someone) or Early swings for hits it seems. Theres got to be something wrong with the coding that gives poor exit velocity and launch angles on well timed/well placed swings because I definitely hit 100mph+ on early (even fouls) more than I do on good timing contact.
