New Glitch???

So now you can't pick a runner off or throw over to first! Just effin wonderful!
-
Well the CPU sure can unless something changed since yesterday. Trying sone hit+stolen bases Jackie Robinson moments and before I can even get set, I'm out.
-
Well when it happens in ranked Seasons, I call [censored]! Fix the god damned game!
-
I edited...that wasn't meant for you. I'm not even mad at my quit anymore. I've just had it with dumb [censored] glitches!
-
Anyone else still have the catcher glitch? Doesn't matter who i have behind the dish i can't throw runners out even with my 99 AS CAP who also has 90+ with all fielding stats including reaction the meter just doesn't pop up
-
Again...It was the fact I couldn't even throw over to first to attempt a pick off because the asshole had his runner locked and steal pre-loaded!! I'm not playing in that game and I shouldn't get a loss. But it's gonna count as loss no matter what I say because SDS does what they want.
-
No problems throwing over in the games I just played.
-
If you attempt to throw over more than 3 times during the at bat and the player hasn’t extended his lead or preloaded the stolen base attempt than the computer won’t let you continue to throw over. Once he extends his lead after that you will be able to throw over again. This goes for stepping off as well. I guess it’s SDS’s attempt at stopping the cheesy bs of pitchers who throw over for the sake of throwing over. It’s not a glitch it’s a get a move on with the game thing.

Interesting! I like it.

I lost my RS game last night after I threw down to second, had the runner dead to rights, opponent tries returning to first and which ever player was covering the bag refused to throw the ball to first to start the rundown. But as soon as he did the person I was playing was able to go back to second easily.
-
Guy took a two extra step lead with Todd Helton 2 days ago. Picked him off for the easy out right? Nah he got back safe
-
When I get a runner in a rundown I usually just run the runner back to the original base and like 90 percent of the time my opponent will change directions and run right into the tag. I’ve stopped throwing the ball around because you get these cheesers that will get themselves into rundowns intentionally to take advantage of the throwing issues on defense. So I let them tag themselves out.

When I step off to pickoff the guy is stealing and it is a red throw all of the time! @Collin_SDS could you look into this?

That's the thing...I never was able to throw over even once after he got on. I knew he was going to go and the second I gave up and threw to home plate, he was already gone at second base.

This. This. This. This. This. This. This. This This. This. This This. This. This, and this.
It happens surprisingly a lot considering the perfect timing you need.

I faced someone a couple days ago that just kept taking step after step in his lead off trying to get me to throw over and when I did, it threw it away every time. No meter, nothing, just a wild throw. I have been playing forever and have had many extra lead pickoff battles and never had this happen. I am suspicious people have found a way to exploit a glitch and force the errors.

You know there is a setting where you can set your pickoff throw to metered. Similar to button accuracy fielding

Disregard I was mistaking a setting in RTTS. It sure would be nice to have that option though.
