Were there be a collection for collecting all of them? Or did i just waste a bunch of stubs buying all 21 guys that i didn't get in the packs i got?

They are somehow tied to the lightning card, which most think will be Tatis Jr. You can see on the collections screen that there is a thing to collect the topps now and POTM cards to earn the new lightning card. It's a little unclear yet as to exactly what will need to be done but you will need the topps now cards. I bought them all up over the last few days too. Worst case, their prices probably rise considerably once they announce the collection and who the lightning card is and you can sell them and make a profit.

I think it’s possible you need a combination of TN and the POTM cards. I only have like 15ish TN but I am pretty sure I have 21 POTM. I keep hearing we need 24 cards for Tatis? That’s if that includes POTM, then all of us who have kept up with the lightning cards are nearly there anyway.

You would think if the lightning/PotM cards counted, they would be available to lock in on the collection page for PotM July/August. As of right now, it's only the Topps Now cards. Obviously this could change, but it would be odd as they arent visible there yet.

Exactly, and they could potentially mix in some previous August POTM cards. It's either that or they'll just have POTM packs I'm guessing.

I've got all 21 topps now cards so I'm hoping they release 3 more and that gives me 24 right there. Lock em in and be done with it.

Any updates on what's needed for the lightning card? Did I miss a newer thread and bump an older one?
The way I look at it, this card has to be like the 3rd or 4th best card in the game no? If you need 24 Topps now cards, that's easily 240k stubs in your pocket if you were to sell them. I have a hard time believing that this lightning card will be worth that amount of stubs.
