Have weiters as my backup. He's not bad at all. Was wondering if the new Posada is better??? I start prestige Posey, but I give my backup a start every few games to keep it realistic

I have both and I prefer Weiters, don't get me wrong Posada has a great bat but I just seem to hit better with Weiters. The Panda (Sandoval) is also great and he hits the ball hard all over the field (I have him at 3rd)

I strongly prefer Posada’s bat, but is the bat worth the drop in defense? That’s the question. I loved Posey, but now use CAP.

Weiters 10 times out of 10. I've had Posey, tried Molina, tried Posada, and I keep going back to Mr Reliable Weiters.

It depends what you are looking for. Posada isn’t great on defense but has the best bat of any catcher in the game

Preface: I roll with Wieters as my primary starting C.

Wieters can hit, but I have him behind the plate because he can throw.

Posada has a very, very sweet swing.

I think it just comes down to how much you value a cannon of an arm behind the plate.
