Custom roster use?

Is it possible to Uploaded a saved roster and use it in (PLAY NOW) when you challenge a friend because for some reason when I go to my data utility and load my data roster it doesn't allow me to use my saved roster the options it gives me is

I've been playing my friends and when I challenge them to an exhibition game it goes to it's original day one roster is there away to play with a custom roster when you challenge a friend
