What is your scores going into the game? I'm no expert hitter, but I barely tried last night and breezed through the whole showdown in an hour. I went into the final showdown 10-15 and hit a 3 run walk off HR to win 17-15 using only 5 outs. I sat on pitches inside with my power hitters especially and turned on those. He was much easier to hit with no runners on but only because I wasn't waiting on that stupid windup.

I’ve completed it twice. Failed twice also. One thing I noticed is that he leaves a good amount of fastballs middle of the zone. Past showdowns I feel like that wasn’t the case. Don’t overcompensate your PCI. I hope this helps! You got this man!!

Yeah I think I’m going to abandon the “wait him out” technique and sit FB middle middle early

Good idea! Some will be middle-middle, some will be slightly above or below. Just try to focus on moving your PCI minimally! Keep us posted!

I am 0-3 against Mr. Johnson.
I do not think taking pitches helps. Plus he has that slider/changeup combo that you give up on that catches the bottom of the zone.
I am getting better though, last time I lost 15-15.
The key is avoiding the silly mistakes in the moments, especailly the five 2 run moments. -
I found Johnson easy to beat once I stopped watching his windup, centered my vision just below his waist and waited for a pitch in that area.

Very weird, I typically suck at Showdowns and knocked it out 1st shot. I read that stamina didn't really matter so I just waited for good pitches and didn't really have a problem. I pretty much shelled him which is odd for me, it was part of my decision to sell the inning boss because I had no trouble picking him up and I'm not that good a hitter.

Attack pitches in the zone, dont wait him out. I always try to get the gold and/or diamond exit velocity perks, and having them both on the first pitch results in quite a few HRs. Sit middle down and react to get under the ball with power hitters. I try to stack lefty power hitters to take advantage of this.

Finally did it. Loaded up with lefties and scored 9 FTW. Glad that misery is over.
