Poor planning when starting RS game

I work from home. At 7:45 a.m. started an RS game. Five minutes in, realized I had to start a WebEx at 8. Close game, I'm up 1-0 in the 4th. I know I'm going to have to quit. At 7:58, Brett comes up, hits a 2 run HR for me, and my opponent asks for a "friendly". Ummm. No. I was worried he might play on, but didn't.
I need to plan better.
