Still, those most maddening part of this game...
-
I love the game. Content is off the charts and gameplay is way better than people like to give it credit for...
But by far, the thing that bothers me the most is the infrequency in which pitches on the black are called for strikes.
If any part of the ball touches any part of the strike zone, it is a strike.
This is a video game, not real life. Bad umpiring should not be programmed in for H2H games.
I feel like we shouldn’t let this issue die and should periodically remind SDS of this.
Now that I got that off my chest (again), let’s get back to playing some ball!

They just need to expand the zone

Wait until you do moments with 2 AL teams and see your pitchers hitting. I can't make this [censored] up.

Please name the drug you are on. The gameplay is nothing worth giving credit to.

I have Nightmares of sinkers and bad connection.

I hate the strike zone box! If u actually watch the pitch cross the plate most of the pitches that touch even the outer part of the box that are called balls 90% of the time are actually strikes!
I agree this year its so brutal with how u get like hardly any calls as a pitcher! And pitching is sooooooooo broken ! So thanks umps!! Great post!!!

The best is check swings that the player actually almost finishes swing and its still not called a strike! another great one! Or he moves a inch then they say the hitter swung. Ive gone into reply to watch it to make sure I saw what I though i saw! And yep!
Cause its a video game I rather have perfect check swings called then random!!! But yeah call strikes actually strikes!! Lol

What I miss most about this game is the middle circle, wedge, and black around the strikezone.
-
Oh don't get me started with the strike zone. I've had crucial moments in games where a strike 3 call would have gotten me out of a pitching jam and if its on the black maybe 1 out of 10 pitches are call strikes and very few on 3-2 counts.

I feel I never get pitches in my favor if it's just more than half off the edge of the zone. Seems like 50% or more in the zone only gets the call regardless of Ump setting. Also, what's the point of "Perfect" pitch release if the pitcher will still miss his target?

Drug? The only thing I’m high on is the love of the Lord!
Lol. Jk.
But yeah, the gameplay isn’t as bad as people say. I mean, I think pitching needs improvement more than hitting does.
