Should we expect an SDS Surprise on Thursday?

Madden drops this Thursday, will SDS be dropping some major content to combat the new competitor?
I personally will not touch Madden, but we need to be realistic and acknowledge players will switch to Madden.SDS already changed the roster update to Thursday. Along with more Topps now and a new player program as well.
I have a feeling that they might have one more surprise up their sleeve. -
People are who going to Madden will go regardless of what content is dropped

Madden comes up every year, I can’t say I ever remember a specific spiteful Madden drop of Uber great content. If you’re going to buy Madden, you have likely made up your mind already.

I thought Madden didn't drop until August 25th?

Considering they literally changed nothing in franchise mode and then after the uproar announced they would be updating it through the year a lot of people won't be buying it until those updates have happened.

I don't recall SDS ever doing anything special to try and keep people from going to Madden. As stated already those going to Madden will go anyway.

If you have EA Access you can get a 10 hour trial of Madden 5 days early.

I recall for the past couple of years, they've had a 'Get 10 free packs if you're a member of PS+' that always seemed to get offered right around Madden time.

Gehrig , babe, stan and frank all at once? Oh my...... I love stan. Babe is meh for me. Frank is always frank, i feel they nerf his bat. He hits more doubles than homeruns even when squared up. Gehrig was my number one last year. Gonna hate to put stan on the bench.
