Have you tried fliping or investing in players? If it looks like a gold player is doing well (ie Nola) invest in him. Fliping is also a great way to make lots of stubs fast, just watch the market bronzes and silvers go really fast and can have great margins for flipping. I suggest watching a few videos on youtube to learn what to flip. Ance Larmstrong is a very helpfully youtuber.

Best of luck Mantle is well worth the grind (best card in the game this year)

No, I don’t know much about flipping cards. This is my first year doing DD and when I started I definitely didn’t use my stubs wisely. If I had better understood how things worked (locking cards in, focused on the collection, etc) I probably would have had him a month ago!

That's okay, i only got into flipping last year and it took me awhile to learn as well, plus theres no rush in getting Mantle you will get there when you do , just enjoy the road there.

It's one of the things i love most about DD, you can just add players to your team all year and see what clicks. I love renting players off the market and then if they don't work out i just sell then back to the market.

I will say this though once you learn how it is a great way to make stubs, also not sure how good you are at showdown (i suck) but thats another great way to make stubs and get relatively free packs.

You can get infinite amount of coins just on flipping. Buy cards for 5 stubs that sell for 80. It’s impossible to lose them. Just depends how much time you want to commit.

I like Showdown and generally do well with them. Did a couple this morning to get a FOTF player and then sold him. (I was close to getting him and it got me over the hump)

Exactly this. Just remember the 10% tax on the cards that you sell. So for the example given, you buy a card for 5 stubs and sell it for 80. After the tax you get 72 stubs for a profit of 67 stubs. Just look at the difference in the buy now and sell now price and factor in the tax and see how much profit you'll make on different cards. Some cards move at a faster pace than others and the more you can flip a particular card the better. If you look at the market now there is a lot of low risk flips you can do and profit a few hundred stubs per flip. Depending how much time you want to spend doing it you can make some pretty good stubs. If you can average 300 stubs per flip and you're able to do that 100 times a day you're making 30k in a day.

Good luck. It's a process but as long as you can make a steady amount each day it adds up over time. Even just making 10k a day by the end of the week you've got 70k in stubs, two weeks 140k and so on and so on. If you're just starting out I would flip low risk cards, cards that you can still make a profit on but you don't have to spend a lot to buy. That way you don't loose much if it doesn't work out. You'll figure out what works for you over time and once you do it's really helpful in this game. I couldn't imagine how anyone can finish these collections without flipping cards unless you're willing to spend real money.

    Update!

Completely forgot I had a bunch of Diamond equipment for my CAP. After selling those, HRD Cano, and completing the latest Topps now moments then selling those cards, I had enough to complete the Mantle collection. Taking a break before I use him in a RS game!
