This is probably the only conspiracy theory i subscribe to in regards to this game. I think they tinker with the sliders in DD.
Hear me out....I know i can have off days like everyone else and some will even say its just a placebo affect. But there are times like on a weekend when put in some serious hours in to this game. I feel like i get really familiar with pitch speeds, timing windows, hard contact, etc. Then, like on a Monday or Tuesday, the game just "feels" different. I'ts hard to explain. Like im behind on all pitches, my outfielders are stuck in mud, im making weaker contact on squared up and perfect PCI placement. IDK. I dont get it.
Say what you want....call me crazy. We all know this game can you make you lose it sometimes. But i just feel like they tweak sliders for the different game modes in DD semi-regularl,y and its never mentioned. I dont have a theory for a reason either. Just my .02 cents.

Of course they do. They tweak sliders to get what they deem to be the “correct” ratios of hits, HRs, etc.
This is very apparent in showdowns and in moments.
