Sds can u explain?

why are players on the IL being moved to free agents? Its not like any other team can claim them. They are still under contract for the team they play for. This doesn't make any sense to me.

To make room for the players that are playing.

They could of come up with a better solution. I have tons of cards I now have to wait to exchange because they are doing something they've never done before. I understand that its a different kind of year but these players are in no way free agents

I noticed that, too... Why don't they move Sale there, too? If players on the IL are free agents in the game, why keep Chris Sale on his team?
Same with the players that have opted out.

I think it has to do with game design and them not wanting to possiable break the game via game update. They made a post how they were not implanting new rules like roster sizes into the game so the work around for players joing teams and players being put on the IL was to move them to the FA section. Its weird for sure but could help with investing as those card could be alot cheaper then normal.
