Starting Pitching and Maddux
-
I’m looking to add one more good starting pitcher to my rotation before starting to focus on my bullpen and I need recommendations. My 5 right now are 99 Maddux, 99 Kluber, 99 Paxton, 95 Snell, and 95 Oswalt
Also, I literally just picked up Maddux. Is he worth keeping or should I just take the stubs?

Personally I'm not a fan of maddux so I would consider selling. There are so many affordable pitching options out there but I like Kerry wood and mike scott

Not a huge sample size so far for me with Maddux, but 15.2 innings with a 0.57 ERA and a 0.64 WHIP, so right now I'm enjoying him. Obiously he won't be close to those numbers when he gets more innings under his belt.

Orel has been great for me.
I havent rolled out his prestige card yet.
I like AJ Burnett as well but you have to be super careful pitching with him.
You miss your mark by a fraction, it could go anywhere, including hanging. -
I know it's a tiny sample size, but I've used Maddux for 2 games in RS (on All Star) and pitched 2 CG Shutouts with 30Ks and just 6 hits allowed in 18 IPs. His velo is pretty low but he just dots corners which I love. Could be just luck and me facing 2 weaker opponents in those 2 games, but for now he is staying in my rotation,

Keep him. Small sample size as well but I've given up 3ER in 2 games against really tough opponents. 8K in 1 g and 10k in other. Like you said he dots. Best control in game I love him!
