Snap throw from the catcher should get runners out more often

Has a snap throw from the catcher ever been successful in this game? I can’t remember ever using it. I’ve had opponents try it against me, but I’ve never been picked off from it. I very rarely take an extra step though, so maybe I’m just too close to the bag for it to ever work.

I've never seen a snap throw get a runner in the show as far back as '09 unless someone tried stealing, stopped and went back to the base.

Yeah, I've never seen it work, so i never bother to try it.
