Just failed ANOTHER moment where all I had to do was get 3 base hits.
4 ABs - 4 Walks!
Only because the CPU threw 18 of their 20 pitches so far out if the zone that you would've had to be sitting in the parking lot to even foul tip them.

I agree too, there is no reason why they couldn't have at least made the stat grinds for TA points repeatable. That way we wouldn't have to play online or stupid Showdown.
I started just playing online to get 7 points instead of 5 for innings. Online play is terrible this year, sometimes the game plays fine. Other times the pitch speed is faster than legend and you cant catch up to a fastball unless you are swinging right as the ball comes out of the pitchers hand.
They claimed multiple ways to get TA points, but really keyed down stat grinding for TA points to a very easy to, but for only a 1 time 5 points. They could have upped the requirements and made them repeatable.
At this point to avoid Showdown, i am doing exchanges. I have 700k stubs and already have Mantle.

I dont mind online play, in the past I didnt have a way to hardwire my PS4 so I stayed offline just because of lag. So I get the beef. I used to be strictly offline and enjoyed some of the stst grinds in the past.
