He did keep notes on how much was required of each card, but not of XP or stub rewards.
Someone who'll be next to their PS4 within the next 4 hours could fire up 19 and let us know.

It's not worth it if you look at it purely from a stub cost. But it's like going into a game and trying to get all the achievements even if you can win the game without it., you do it because you're a completionist.
Atleast that's why I am

Once you've completed Honus in 19 the rewards part showing any stubs/XP is blocked

Honus himself was 50k stubs and 100k XP
Each of the 7 vouchers was 2.5k stubs and 10k XP

They better make it a good player because most people that are debating about doing it like me may not do it if it’s Jeter or someone like that

This we know: There's a 1,000,000% chance someone will complain once the reward is revealed.
(I saw someone earlier lamenting the possibility of UNIT because they didn't want someone who wouldn't be in the lineup every single game.)
I'll get them no matter who it is because I'm a completionist. But if it's Jeter, he's never cracking the lineup ever unless there's some sort of associated star mission. If I need stats from a Yankee SS, I've got POTM Didi.

No matter who they release, it will be a letdown to everyone.
Honus caught us all surprise last year and that was the beauty of it.
This year people were preparing for it since day 1.That is why I suspect we will get at least two cards to mitigate the let down many players will have.
Only a few cards would be universally accepted:
Aaron
Clemente
A maxed out Trout card
Big Unit
Koufax
maybe another few players, but that list is short. -

I think it should be a purple diamond... make it truly stand out so when the loading lineup screen is on, I can clearly see if somebody has it or not and it jumps out at me

Yeah I can understand the trophy aspect part of it but I can’t agree with this player will be that much better than what is already available. Like how much better can this card be than Prestige Walker or even Walkers base card?
Some people it depends on the card, Some would spend that much and more if it was say a Aaron Card, If it is a legend that is new than people will want just cause it is a new legend. If it is not a new legend only a few cards would do it for me. Jimmy Foxx is top on my list. I do not care for Ruth or Thomas, Foxx I would go after that card.

I agree, but unless either Mays or Griffey is the reward for this collection, they will be had for cheaper. Mantle won’t be that much better than Griffey or Mays by the time they come out. Even with basically Max hitting attributes Babe and Ted can’t field well. Bonds/Stocker would be the only card thats actually worth that many stubs more than the next man up. Anyone who thinks otherwise is lying to themselves. Aaron would be my next choice, but again Mays and Griffey would easily compare
You did not need every card of every collection to get Wagner last year, You would not need to spend 1 million is stubs if you been playing the game since launch you should have the majority of the cards you will need unless you sold everything as you got it.

You would be surprised. I think I’m personally in good shape but not alot of people have TA’s at 100, players league, prospects, and HRD collections done. Most people go after the LS and thats it.

You would be surprised. I think I’m personally in good shape but not alot of people have TA’s at 100, players league, prospects, and HRD collections done. Most people go after the LS and thats it.
The TA will be the easiest to get if you can grind it out which I will do, i have all the first 30 done 2 of the stage 3 done, I have all teams in stage 2 or 3. The fact that showdown stage 1 and 2 are easier now then when they first came out makes it easy to complete. Yeah you are right most people only worry about the LS and getting the best cards. I like collecting what I earn so I pretty much keep everything. I did sell the 4th and 5th inning bosses as I was going after Mantle and I finally finished that this last weekend. I am not one who will need this card the day it comes out.
